Play a Fast-Growing Sport

The Sea Pines Resort offers six pickleball courts for guests to learn and play this exciting racket sport quickly gaining popularity across the country. Played on a smaller court, pickleball combines elements of tennis, ping pong and badminton. Guests of the resort and Sea Pines property owners enjoy a discounted price of $20 per hour. Rental of four paddles and balls is available for $20.

The resort offers round robin play daily for players ages 12 and older. Cost is $15 per person.

Pickleball 101

Build a Solid Foundation

Learn the basics of pickleball, including rules, scoring, court positioning and basic strategies. This program is recommended for new players or those who have started playing but lack formal instruction. Paddles will be provided.

Pickleball Round Robin

Start the Day With Social Play

Add social play, and maybe even bragging rights, to your time at The Sea Pines Resort with weekday pickleball events where all skill levels are welcome.

Power Hour with Mick Ray

If you are looking to drill and hit a lot of balls in an hour, then the Power Hour is for you. Drills ranging from cooperative to competitive will be incorporated. Intermediate level is recommended for this class. This program is run by our Touring Professional Mick Ray.

Pickleball 3 & Me

On Court Doubles Play with our Head Professional Mick Ray:

Each player will have an opportunity to play with and against the Coach in multiple live games!
Instruction will be offered on court positioning , shot selection, and other aspects of the game.

When registering for this lesson, three players, preferably of equal ability level, are needed. During the booking process, you will need to register three players.

Junior Pickleball

This class is about teaching children the Pickleball basics. Progressive activities will be incorporated to provide the tools necessary to play the game. Participants will learn the rules and how to play fairly. Most importantly, they will have fun!
