Women's Golf Clinics

IMPROVE ALL SKILLS

Focusing on the fundamentals of each golf shot, LPGA “Top 50 Instructor” Julie Cole can help you achieve consistency on the fairway, reducing the frustration experienced by so many golfers. Clinics target different aspects of the game, from the tee shot to chipping and putting.

An expert on the golf swing, motor skill development and skill progression, Cole is able to translate her vast knowledge into easy-to-understand instruction for players of all levels. Her enthusiastic, fun approach to teaching takes the work out of learning new techniques you can use after the clinic to practice your game.

Prior to joining The Sea Pines Resort, Julie Cole served as director of instruction and managing partner of the Dana Rader Golf School in Charlotte, North Carolina, for 25 years. She taught more than 1,200 lessons a year while directing large group programming, coaching and instructing private lessons.

Before making golf instruction her career, Cole played golf professionally on the Futures, European, Asian and LPGA Tour, winning 12 tournaments worldwide. In addition to her outstanding playing credentials, Julie has excelled in her teaching.

Cole believes in teaching and coaching the game by starting with the fundamentals for all golf shots, which leads to a more consistent physical and mental approach to playing the game and excelling in the short game. She has decades of experience instructing players of all levels, with proven results for the casual golfer, collegiate player and young professional. Cole has an enthusiastic, fun approach to teaching and is able to adapt her instruction to fit a student’s learning style. She has vast knowledge of the golf swing, motor learning and skill progression, delivering technical information in an easy-to-understand style for all golfers.

Two-Day Golf School

WORK WITH LEARNING CENTER COACH MARCUS HUNT

Spend two days with Marcus in a small group (3:1 ratio) setting to elevate your golf game this season. This two-day school covers all aspects of the game, including on-course scoring situational work, to help you maximize your fun playing the game. Marcus will give each student an individual plan for improvement utilizing an CoachNow online training space so you can access the information once you are home. Tim Cooke Mini School

LESSONS FROM DIRECTOR OF INSTRUCTION

Spend three hours working on your game with our director of instruction, Tim Cooke, in a one-on-one setting. Full use of the measuring technologies will be at your disposal to help analyze your game and plan your improvement. New students should expect a three-month lead time. The Sea Pines Resort’s director of instruction, Tim Cooke is a PGA Master Pro, winner of multiple Top 100 Teacher awards from GOLF Magazine and on Golf Digest’s 2022-23 Best in State list. Cooke is the cofounder of GOLFPREP, an elite junior training academy. He holds a master’s degree in pedagogy from the University of Virginia. 

Cooke has coached dozens of golfers who have made the jump from junior to collegiate golf. He’s worked with or is currently instructing players on the LPGA and PGA TOUR.

  • Awarded “Master Professional in Instruction” status by the PGA of America in 2009

IMPROVE YOUR GOLF SWING

This is a comprehensive program designed to help you find your swing. We’ll work with what you have and improve your swing fundamentals. This will improve your consistency from tee to green and help you play more to your capabilities and shoot lower scores.

  • Three hours of instruction conducted one of the Learning Center coaches
  • Detailed personal video analysis with voice-over and graphics emailed to you to insure continued improvement
  • 4-to-1 maximum student to teacher ratio helps provide personal attention
  • $275 per person. If only one person is signed up the program will be reduced to 2-hours

Women's Two-Day Golf School

WORK WITH LPGA INSTRUCTOR JULIE COLE

The Two-Day School is a personalized, comprehensive program, complete with full swing and short game instruction. By working in small groups (4:1 ratio) led by Julie Cole, you will learn various aspects of the game, from putting to driving, while providing players with a personalized practice plan that addresses your specific goals.
